Tanko Mohammed has signed a two-year deal for Medeama

Ghana Premier League club Medeama have confirmed the signing of striker Tanko Mohammed on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has returned home after a one-year spell at Spanish third-tier side CD Leganés.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Club Deportivo Teruel from Leganés.

Mohammed has been noted as a striker with great power, strength and very good eye for goal.

He was Heart of Lions’ top scorer for the 2009/2010 and was a member of the home-based national team.
