BY FESTUS AHON UGHELLI — THE people of Owhelogbo in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, under the auspices of Ugo Club of Nigeria, yesterday, commended the state Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, for appointing one of their sons, Mr Ovuozorie Macaulay, as Secretary to the State Government. The group in a statement by its president and secretary, Mr Samuel Akporehe and Mr Anthony Ughegbe respectively, congratulated  Macaulay on his appointment

ABUJA -President Goodluck Jonathan has re-appointed Mr. Osita Chidoka as Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, for another term of four years.

A statement by the Corps Public Education Officer, Mr. Nseobong Akpabio, said approval letter from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, on the re-appointment is in line with Section 7 (1) of the Federal Road Safety Commission Establishment Act,2007.

According to him, the corps marshal’s re-appointment will set the pace for the FRSC as leading agency in the nation’s road traffic administration and safety management to consolidate on its drive towards safer road use in Nigeria.
