Luanda — Angolan historian Simão Souindoula defended Wednesday, in Luanda, the need for major cooperation in literature, music, dance and theatre between Angola and Cuba, to reinforce existing the friendship and historic ties between both countries.
Simão Souindoula was presenting a lecture on “The Presence of Angola in Cuba” in a lecture organised at the premises of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA), having said that he hopes there can be more signing of cultural agreements between Angola and Cuba.
“There is a need to unite writers of both countries”, he stressed, at the same time touching on the need to create more space for reading, particularly in Luanda, to influence youths in researching literature books.
