Zoltan Gera‘s agent has revealed that the Hungarian playmaker could yet re-sign with Fulham.

The 32-year-old’s contract with the Cottagers expired at the end of the season and he is now a free agent.

There were some reports pointing towards a potential return to ply his trade at former club West Bromwich Albion, but now the midfielder’s representative believes the arrival of Martin Jol at Craven Cottage could change things.

“Martin Jol knows and likes Gera’s style,” Vladan Filipovioc told Hungarian newspaper Nemzeti Sport.

“When he was manager of Tottenham, he wanted to sign Gera and he would probably like to work with him now.

“Until Gera signs his new contract, anything can happen. It could be that he even stays at Fulham.”

Gera made 117 appearances in a three-year stay at Fulham before becoming a free agent when his deal expired at the end of last season.
