The mother of the late Olympic champion Samuel Wanjiru has gone to court again seeking to stop her son’s burial. Hannah Wanjiru says she has new evidence to show that her son was killed.

Wanjiru wants high court judge William Ouko to stop the burial until investigations into the death are complete. Through her lawyer Gordon Ogolla, Wanjiru has sued her daughter in law Teresia Njeri and is asking the court to issue temporary orders stopping the burial or the removal of her son’s body from the Lee Funeral home until her case is heard and determined.
