By Princewill Ekwujuru Aggrieved Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, pensioners who were retired between May 2000 to December 2010, said they might be forced to institute court action against the bank, if it refused to execute the Supreme Court judgement of  May 21, 2010, in full. The pensioners, who criticised the lopsidedness of the payment by the management of CBN, said the bank did not carry out the payment in full, as only 30 per cent of the pensioners were to be paid. Musiliu Soetan, Protem Chairman of CBN pensioners 2000 set and above, said at a press conference  that the implementation of the court order by CBN ran contrary to the ruling of all-encompassing benefits as accrued to the pensioners and as delivered by the apex court

The National Women’s team, Super Falcons will Wednesday play its third warm-up game since setting up camp in Saalfelden, Austria on May 26, with the Austrian National Women’s team as opponents.

The game, which will be played at the Stadion Leogang, only five minutes’ drive from the Falcons’ Hotel Saliterhof abode in Saalfelden, starts at 6.30pm Austria time (5.30pm Nigeria time).

Six-time champions of the African continent, the Super Falcons have played in every FIFA World Cup finals since the inaugural tournament in China 20 years ago.

They defeated Austrian first division team, Wacker Innsbruck 7-0 in their first friendly match on Sunday, May 29 and piped the Czech Republic National team 1-0 on Wednesday, June 1st.

Wednesday’s match will help Coach Eucharia Uche, who attended a three-day CAF Coaching Course in Ethiopia between June 4-6, to make up her mind on her final list of 21 players for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany. The final list must be submitted latest on Friday.
