Caxito — The speaker of the Mozambican National Assembly, Verónica Nataniel Macano Dlhovo, visited on Sunday Icolo e Bengo district in the northern Bengo province, which is the homeland of the Angolan nation founder, António Agostinho Neto.
The Mozambican arrived in Icolo e Bengo district at 12h30, where she laid a wreath on the bust of the first and late president of Angola.
Then, the Mozambican top MP travelled to Kaxicane, where Neto was born and she was informed about the housing project dubbed “community development project” presented by the Secretary of State for Rural Development, Filomena Delgado.
Accompanied by the deputy speaker of the Angolan parliament, Joana Lina and other government officials, Verónica Dlhovo watched some traditional dances, performance of theatre plays and reading of poems.
