Sunderland target Ji Dong-won has denied reports that a move to the Stadium of Light has been completed.
The South Korean starlet has been linked with a move to the Premier League and is one of the hottest prospects in Asian football.
The 20-year-old is on International duty with South Korea in Ghana and admitted he would like a move to Europe in the future.
He said to Sky Sports: “Nothing regarding my future is set in concrete at this stage.
“But I agree that the game against Ghana is important for me to show my abilities to clubs based overseas.”
Sources from Seoul suggest the Black Cats and Dong’s club side Chunnam Dragons are in the final stages of negotiations.
The forward has scored two league goals in 10 matches for Chunnam in the K-League this season.
Dong burst on to the International stage with South Korea during the 2011 Asian Cup, where he scored a total of four goals.
