Wanlawayn — At least two people have been confirmed dead and three others injured in a car accident in southern Somalia town of Wanlawayn.
The car incident came after a lorry carrying charcoal bags overturned in a village near the town of Wanlawyn.
One of the wounded people, who had been in a serious condition, was taken to the medical facilities in the capital Mogadishu.
However, car accidents in Somalia are attributed to the drivers who are believed to inexperienced and unskillful.
However, Somalia has not had any functioning central government with the ability to repair and the roads and to regulate driving cars since 1991 when the military was overthrown.
