Geleb — The inhabitants of Kiruh, Geleb sub-zone, expressed satisfaction for getting access to reliable potable water supply.
They told ERINA that previously they used to drink water from streams along with their cattle. At present, however, they are relieved of water-born diseases thanks to the implementation of potable water supply project by the Government.
The modern project involves a well, 3 water distribution stations and a pond with the capacity of holding about 150 barrels of water. It is also expected to make major contribution in the regrouping of scattered villages.
Kiruh administrative area is located 60 Km. east of Keren town.
