Olympic Marathon champion Samuel Wanjiru was murdered. Those are the findings of two doctors including government pathologists Moses Njue and Emily Rogena acting for Wanjiru’s mother Anna.
The pathology reports indicate that Wanjiru was hit with a blunt object on the back of the head fracturing his skull before while on his knees and hands on the ground. The incident happened three weeks ago and police immediately declared it suicide before a postmortem was carried out. Njue, the Chief Government pathologist questioned the police theory that Wanjiru fell to death.
Yesterday his mother was arrested for disrupting funeral arrangements at the athletes Nyahururu home.
