Benguela — Clube Nacional de Benguela counts as from Thursday with a residential zone to accommodate athletes from other provinces and abroad, Angop has learnt.
Worth USD 100,000, the undertaking was already presented to members and supporters and comprises among others five residences, a gymnasium, as well as a leisure area.
The Club’s chairman, José Granada, told the press that the residential zone is designed only for professional athletes that will play in the second division, meant to qualify the team to the greatest category of football, from which Nacional de Benguela has been absent for 16 years.
A 22-room hotel, a football field are under construction, as well as a bus will be acquired soon to transport the players, announces the source.
