Forward Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he wants to leave Arsenal this summer after spending most of last season as a substitute.
The 23-year-old has made 98 appearances for the Gunners since his debut in 2005 but has failed to impress boss Arsene Wenger enough to become a regular in the starting XI.
Bendtner found the back of the net nine times and had a total of eight assists in all competitions last season but is determined to move away from the Emirates.
The Danish international has been linked with a move to Sevilla recently as well as AC Milan and Bayern Munich.
He told sporten.dk: “I can promise that there won’t be another season like this one. I have decided 100 per cent that I must leave Arsenal.
“I’ve considered this for a long time and was quite clear when I arrived at my decision.
“I’m quite calm and confident that I’ll be fine at a new club.”
