By Prince Osuagwu Telecommunications company, MTN, has said that its venture into the satellite business has given itstelecommunications operation a great lift. The company  participated in this year’s Satellite Communications, SATCOM, Africa,  Conference, held in Johannesburg, South Africa.  The company through its MTN business arm is providing satellite services, ranging from equipment to bandwidth and others. Speaking to Vanguard  at the venue of the event, Business Partner Manager of MTN Business, Mr Richard Kabeya, said the satellite business has aided MTN’s operations in the telecoms sector and is  making huge investments to remain in the top league of the sector.

Fulham striker Bobby Zamora wants the club to appoint a new manager as soon as possible, after Mark Hughes walked out this week.

With Europa League games starting at the end of June, Zamora – who found excellent form under Hughes – is keen for the next incumbent to be given the job quickly.

“We are back in training on 23 June and we’ve got a game on the 30th in the Europa League,” he said, according to BBC Sport.

“We want the right person for the club. It would be nice if the managerial thing is sorted before we come back.

“Mark has got his his reasons,” he added. “I don’t blame him at all. It’s one of those things. Managers and players come and go.”
