Orkula Shaagee 3 June 2011 The festering crisis in the nation's football is taking a dangerous dimension as the Interim Committee of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) yesterday resolved to write financial institutions in the country to stop them from entering into any deal with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). Describing the NFFA as an illegal body that cannot enter into dealings on behalf of the nation's football, the NFA said it would also write the nation's apex bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to investigate all banks that had deals with the NFF. The decisions which were taken at the Executive Committee meeting of the NFA in Abuja, also called on the National Sports Commission (NSC) to henceforth stop funding the activities of the illegal NFF since that will contravene the laws of the land
