Interior Minister Calls for Renewing Statistics in the Field of Childhood

    Khartoum — The Minister of Interior, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmuod Hamid, has assured his ministry’s cooperation with the National Council for Child Welfare in the field of protecting children, particularly after implementing the Civil Record project that guarantees provision of sufficient information.

    In the 4th meeting for Childhood Welfare, chaired by the Vice – President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, at the Friendship Hall Sunday, Mahmoud underscored the importance of the Project of Concern with Children and the Project of the Direct Development, calling for arrangement and renewing the statistics in the field of childhood.

    The Wali (governor) of the White Nile State, Yousif Al-shanbali, asserted the absence of child labour in his state, pointing out education depends on the native efforts and the parents councils. Meanwhile, Deputy Wali (governor) of Sennar State affirmed the importance of partnerships in the field of children welfare, calling for unifying the education curricular at the pre-school level in all the states, referring to the efforts being exerted by the his state in the field of education nomads children.
