Dream Team Head Coach Austin Eguavoen yesterday named his 21-man squadfor Sunday’s Olympic Games qualifier against Tanzania in Dar-el-Salam.

The team which has six home-based players includes Captain Lukman Haruna of Monaco, Nnamdi Oduamadi of AC Milan and former Kano Pillars midfielder Solomon Okpako who plies his trade with Panionios FC in Greece.

Others are Dele Ajiboye, Femi Thomas, Dimaku, Edet Ibok, Kingsley Udoh, Nurudeen Orelesi, Anyanwu Emmanuel, Terna Suswan, Saka Ayo, Harmony Ikande, Nosa Igiebor and Osadebamwen Okoro.

The rest are Obiora Nwankwo, Odion Igalo, Fatai Kehinde, Anthony Ujah and the latest inclusion to the team Azuka Izu.

Izu, who plays for Al-Ittihad was drafted into the twenty-one man squad following the departure of Aberdeen of Scotland attacking midfielder Sone Aluko, who was granted permission to go sort out club matters.

Speaking on the match, Eguavoen said he has a team that would win pick the maximum points at stake in Dar-el-Salam on Sunday and make the return leg a formality.

“After watching the first round second leg game between Tanzania and

Cameroon in Dares-Salam, I must confess that we have the team to go pick the three points come Sunday”. Declared Stanley Eguma the team’s first assistant coach.

“This is not to say that we are under rating the Young Taifa stars. We are conscious of the fact that there is no minnow any more in Africa football but we are at the same time determined to go all out for the three points so as to make the return leg a mere formality” he added.

The Team will depart the country from Lagos aboard Kenya Airways today by 1pm for the all-important qualifying match.
