Luanda — South Korea’s ambassador to Angola, Hung Oh, on Tuesday here paid a visit to the Integrated Centre of Technological Training (Cinfotec), to which he pledged support and partnerships with similar institutions of his country.

The diplomat expressed his satisfaction at the quality of the equipment he saw in the institution’s laboratories and workshops.

According to the South Korean diplomat, his country has advanced technology, reason why it is willing to reinforce the co-operation relations with Angola, by creating partnerships for training of technicians, as well as supplying books for libraries.

The ambassador said it is important to find ways for Cinfotec to be internationally recognised, including the institution’s teachers.

On his turn, the director of Cinfotec, José João Lourenço, explained that the centre has given priority to continual training of teachers.

He also said that Cinfotec wants to make strong partnerships with other similar institutions, aiming at the exchange of services in areas like upgrading and equipment servicing courses, to guarantee solid training for Angolan citizens.
