The court also jailed six hawkers one month each for hawking in the city.
Prosecutor Eze E. Eze had earlier told the court that the women were arrested  at various streets of the city in the early hours of Thursday.
“The accused persons were carrying out activities that contravene Section 35 (1h) of the AEPB Act of 1997 and Section 45 of the Constitution.
When the charges were read to the accused persons, they pleaded guilty and begged for leniency.
Magistrate Aminu Abdullahi sentenced each of them to two months imprisonment or to pay N5,000 each as fine.
The court also jailed Lawal Yahaya, Okeson David, Blessing John, Abubakar Amani, Ishaika Abdullahi and Francis Huse to one month imprisonment each for hawking on the city’s streets.
The six hawkers were convicted for contravening Section 35 (1) of the AEPB Act, number 10 of 1997.
The accused persons pleaded guilty to the charges and begged for leniency.
The magistrate granted them options of N4,000 fines each.
