Norwich City look to be returning to south London for their second signing of the summer after agreeing a deal with Millwall for Steve Morison.
The Canaries have already signed James Vaughan – who was on loan at the Lions’ rivals Crystal Palace from Everton – and now look to be adding Welshman Morison to their ranks after agreeing a transfer reportedly worth £2 million.
The Millwall striker, who scored 17 goals for the club last season, is now discussing terms with the Premier League new boys, and will have to then undergo a medical before becoming a Norwich player.
“We have allowed Steve to talk to a Premiership club having negotiated a deal that has matched our valuation,” Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler told the club’s official website.
“It is now for Norwich and Steve to agree terms.”
