Dampoo out with ‘Nokwere’

Dampoo a versatile and talented upcoming hiplife artist has released his latest single ‘Nokwere’ featuring LayLow, currently being promoted by his label. The club banger which has been enjoying some airplay in the capital will also have its music video premiered soon. He describes himself as predominantly a hip life artist but has the dexterity to do other genres of music like dancehall, hi-life and soulful music. <<>>Dampoo, christened Samuel Somuah Agyare is an old student of St. Peter’s Senior High School. He started his music career from his school days when he used to perform alongside the likes of Asem. He released a lot of mix tapes in and out of school and got signed on to Blue Paper Entertainment record label in February this year (2011). His music is influenced by a long list of music greats which include Bob Marley, Kojo Antwi, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, and Osibisa,
