Windhoek — Namibia’s Brave Warriors coach Brian Isaacs called up a 29-man squad to represent Namibia to face Burkina Faso on June 4, at the Independence Stadium in the capital.

Wilko Risser and Razundara Tjikuzu who plies his trade with Kasimpasa Spor Kulubu in Turkey will also be part of the squad to face the Burkina Faso giants, while Warriors’ ever-present vice-captain Oliver Risser is also part and parcel of coach Isaacs’ team list.

Ramblers pocket-sized midfielder Eslin “Lovers” Kamuhanga, Ninja Karongee of Stars and Civics talisman Heini Isaacks are all part of the team, featured by Emilio Martin and Bradley Wermann in the centre of the park.

In the hope of strengthening his misfiring striking force, coach Isaacs called up South African-based Amazulu striker Tangeni Shipahu and Compatriot Rudolf Bester who plays for Maritzburg United in neighbouring South Africa – and to add a bit of local flavour to the front force coach Isaacs called up relegated Blue Boys striker Jordan Haimbili, Pineas Jacob and Ramblers’ Sydney Urikhob, hoping that the boys will be brave enough and lead the team to the African Cup of Nations.

The Namibia lost their last match 4-0 against Burkina Faso in their first leg and while Burkina Faso currently leads the Group F log standings, Namibia is stationed at third spot, trailing behind Gambia who are second on the log.
