Captain of Argentina National team for today’s international friendly against the Super Eagles, Manchester City of England star, Pablo Zabaleta has hinted that the Albicelestes will use set pieces to subdue their opponents.

Speaking ahead of today’s friendly match, the player said he is expecting a tough match because playing against any Africa side is always very difficult.

He said Africans play hard football which makes it difficult for players from the other continents to match their physical approach.

Zabaleta maintained that the match against Eagles is going to be a special one because Argentina has recorded victories over Nigeria but not on their soil.

He explained that since today’s match is going to be played in Nigeria, it will make it more difficult but interesting for both sides.

The player however said the match is an opportunity for Argentina to show greatness and win.

He reiterated that why Argentina plays with more quality, the Nigerian side brings in more physical approach to make their encounters tough duels.

“This is going to a special game. There are a lots of talent in our team. Tomorrow’s match (today) is for us to show greatness and win. African teams are always strong and we expect the same thing tomorrow (today).

Zabaleta said to beat Eagles, he and his team mates would make good use of set pieces.

“We shall play with more quality because Nigeria will be the opposite. We shall try to score through set pieces. I will do my best. I am happy to captain Argentina in the next two matches”, he stated.
