Fulham and Tottenham have learned that Espanyol will only sell star striker Dani Osvaldo if their valuation of £17 million is met, according to the Daily Mirror.
It has previously been reported that the Cottagers have had a £10m offer turned down for the former Italy under-21 international.
The Argentina-born forward, who has a buy-out clause of €20m (£17m) in his contract, only joined the club on a permanent basis last August after originally being on loan from Italian club Bologna.
Osvaldo’s agent, Dario Dacoud, said: “I have been called by many people from Spain and England. Lots of English clubs have called me.
“He is very happy at Espanyol, but this is a job, and sometimes there are things to which you cannot say yes or no because it’s your future.
“We will see. There is plenty of time.”
Osvaldo began his career at Argentine first division side Club Atletico Huracan before moving to Italian side Atalanta in 2005.
However, after just one goal in three appearances for the club, they sold him to Lecce in a co-ownership deal where he hit eight goals in 31 appearances.
In 2007, he was sold to Fiorentina after Atalanta regained full control of the player, but after little over 20 appearances in a two-year spell, he was sold to Bologna.
