    Ondjiva — A team of donors from the United Nation’s Children Fund (Unicef) is since Sunday in Cunene Province, aimed at inspecting various financial projects by the organisation.

    The information was given by the institution’s press officer in Angola, Olívio Gamboa, to whom the work is about inspecting and assessing the extent of implementation of programmes for the local government, especially in sectors of health and education.

    The team led by the secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Angola, Ms Reiko Murakami, is made up of staff from USAid and governments of Spain and United States of America.

    Olívio Gamboa explained that for three days, the donors will pay inspection visits to the health department, especially to learn about the revitalisation programme of health and vaccination, programme of free distribution of mosquito nets to vulnerable families.

    In the education domain, the team will visit the work of five primary school institutions in the province.
