Cabinda — The secretary of State for Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento, arrived this Monday morning in Cabinda Province for a 48-hour work visit, mainly aimed at co-ordinating the seminar on evaluation and accreditation of higher education in the country.
Adão do Nascimento is being accompanied by the chairwoman of the founding commission of the National Institute of Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education in Angola, Maria Helena Miguel.
Speaking to the press at Cabinda airport, Maria Helena Miguel said that the work visit aims at taking the first steps towards informing about the evaluation work that is intended to promote a quality of higher education in the country.
The seminar, which will take place on Tuesday, will have four topics.
The secretary of State is also scheduled to go to Caio locality to check the pace of the building works of the Cabinda University Campus.
