Police have reportedly been advised by to go slow on the local investigation over the post election violence suspects now that the admissibility case lodged by the Government to save the Ocampo was dismissed by the ICC. Sources indicate the investigations were just an effort meant to show the ICC that the government was willing to initiate local investigations. The ICC Pre-trial Chamber dismissed Kenyans admissibility case on the grounds that Kenya has failed to demonstrate that the suspects may face similar charges at home.
