History Museum Promotes Recreation Activity for Children

The Citizen (Dar es Salaam) 30 May 2011 Dar Es Salaam — The sixth edition of the Tanga Cement Open will get underway on July 20, a prominent tennis coach, Salum Mvita said yesterday.Mvita told The Citizen that the tournament will be held at Dar es Salaam Gymkhana Club and has already attracted over 100 young players. "I hope this time around the event will be very competitive considering the number of young players showing interest. Already over 100 players have started training ahead of the tournament," he disclosed.

Luanda — The Natural History Museum will hold a recreational activity next Thursday, under the motto “Museum is amusing”, involving children aged from five to 12 years old, to celebrate 01 June, International Child’s Day.

Angop learnt Monday, here, from a press note that the objective is to commemorate 01 June and provide some good moments for children.

Another purpose of the activity is motivating children to be interested in knowing, researching and taking them to know about Angolan fauna.
