Former Birmingham City midfielder Sebastian Larsson will decide where his future lies after he returns from international duty, according to his representative.
The Swede left the relegated club this week as he seeks to find a new club after failing to agree a new deal.
The player’s agent, Per Jonsson, has stated that the player will decide his next move in the next fortnight.
He told the Sunderland Echo: “Seb has a few offers from some good clubs that we are looking into at the moment. He will need a few weeks to consider his future.
“We have the international games coming up. Sweden have got two qualifiers for the European Championships so Seb and the other players have to have their concentration on them.
“But after those games, we will be sorting out his future pretty quickly. By the first or second week in June, everything should be sorted out.
“There have been four clubs from the Premier League who have made approaches. There is no problem finding a club in this case. The problem is sorting out which club it is.”
The player has been linked with a move to Sunderland over the past few months and Jonsson revealed that Larsson has a good relationship with Black Cats boss Steve Bruce.
He added: “Obviously Seb has got a good relationship with Steve Bruce and Eric Black Sunderland assistant manager.
“Steve was the manager at Birmingham before and took him to Birmingham and he made his breakthrough under him there. You can see they have a good relationship from that.”
