Health-e (Cape Town) Dipuo Sedibe 25 May 2011 British American Tobacco South Africa (Batsa) has failed in a high court bid to have parts of the country's tobacco advertising ban declared unconstitutional. They had challenged the country's 2008 law amendments on tobacco advertising approved by Parliament. The North Gauteng High Court, on Thursday, rejected Batsa's request for the law to be interpreted in a manner that would allow the company to advertise to adult smokers on a one-on-one basis

Mombasa-based songstress Mwanaisha Abdallah, popularly known as Nyota Ndogo, has recorded a collabo with Congolese singer Ricky Mulolo aka Mulolo of the Mapenzi Ya Faida fame. “I am glad that we are now uniting Congo and Kenya through music; you can do it anywhere so long as you have a vision and passion for it. I am promising my fans grand work ahead,” said Mulolo who owns Club Legend in Mtwapa. “I will be doing my solo Love track next week at KG Recording Studio Bamburi, Mombasa, which will be released mid-June. Let people love each other; killings are outdated,” Nyota added.

The song Wao Wao Wanaume has been produced by several recording studios which includes KG, Kelele and the mixing was done in Australia by Congolese producer Willy Muozi.
