Egypt is Keen to Boost Commercial Exchange With Nation, Says Prime Minister Sharaf

    Cairo — The Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Esam Sharaf affirmed the keenness of his country to increase the volume of trade exchange with Sudan in order to meet the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries, stressing the need to overcome all the challenges facing the development of trade.

    This came when the Egyptian Prime Minister received Monday a delegation representing the Sudanese side in the joint Sudanese-Egyptian Committee for Trade, Industry and Agriculture, headed by Minister of Industry Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jazz.

    The Egyptian Prime Minister welcomed the Sudanese delegation and affirmed commitment of the Egyptian side to support the bilateral relations with Sudan so as to make these relations hover over wide horizons.

    The Minister of Industry, on his part, said in a statement to the press that he briefed the Egyptian Prime Minister on the outcomes of the discussions of the Sudanese and Egyptian sides, revealing that the opening sitting’s remarks focused on the necessity of boosting cooperation in domains of food security, agricultural and animal production as well as food processingHe further explained that the Sudanese delegation informed the Egyptian Prime Minister on the outcomes of the talks of the businessmen in the two countries, affirming the necessity to strengthen the joint cooperation.
