Luanda — A group of seventy people, among students and teachers from Angola’s private Lusiada University (ULA) of the International Relations course, will travel this Thursday to New York, USA, to visit the United Nations Headquarters.
According to Rui Melo, from the institution’s communication and image office, the trip is part of a study visit programme for ULA and is also made up of students from third and fourth year.
Besides the trip to the United Nations Headquarters, they will also visit the African Union delegation at the UN, Angola’s delegation, as well as visit some tourist attraction sites such as Guggenheim Museum, Central Park and Empire State Building.
This is the students’ second trip overseas, the first happened in October of 2010 when they travelled to Cape Town, South Africa.
