Saurimo — The effectives of the 31st Infantry Brigade of the east military region, in Lunda Sul Province, on Wednesday received a donation from the Ajapraz association.
The donation includes electrical appliances, bicycles, television sets, computers, fridges, guitars and didactic material.
According to Ajapraz chairman, Bento Raimundo, this solidarity gesture is part of the commemorations of Africa’s Day, May 25.
On her turn, the provincial governor of Lunda Sul, Cândida Narciso, who attended the handover ceremony, gave a brief historical account on this date and said it serves for reflection about the living of Africans.
Cândida Narciso appealed to the military for redoubled vigilance so that the Angolan borders are well protected.
