He then confirmed that so far, all the centers visited where doing fine and every process was smooth. “We did not receive any problem yet. But in the past, people where complaining that foreigners were being registered which we came to realize today that it is not true at all because all the registration centers we have visited, we did not find anything like that” he said.

The IEC chairman further explain that in the first and second week of the registration, they registered over three hundred thousand Gambians saying people came out in large numbers to the registration centres to get their voters card. He added that the process is very fast and smooth and as at now 80 per cent of Gambians.
