Uige — The governor of northern Uige province, Paulo Pombolo, Tuesday, here, acknowledged the engagement of all who have campaigned for the preservation of African culture and unity of its peoples.
“I take this opportunity to pay tribute to the Africans who struggle to preserve our cultural identity and who do everything to hold Africa together,” said the official, who added that this continent “cradle of humanity” commemorates on Wednesday another anniversary.
For the governor, despite numberless constraints, including political, ethnic, religious issues, among others, the African continent can make, in the near future, a decent life for its children.
The governor also spoke for the desire of the main wealth of African countries by biggest world powers.
