Mogadishu — A distinguished Somali delegation spearheaded by Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adam, the speaker of the parliament on Monday flew to Nairobi, the capital of neighboring Kenya.

The aim of the speaker’s trip is to attend meeting on Somalia which United Nations Security Council will hold in Nairobi later this month.

Ali Adam, one of lawmakers told Shabelle Media Network that the speaker will meet key UNSC officials in Kenya.

As intensive internal rift deepens Somali governmental institutions, the president and his prime minister didn’t release any comments the departure of the parliament speaker.
