Luanda — The governor of Luanda, José Maria Ferraz dos Santos, on Friday here considered as important and urgent the need for greater proximity and harmony between the municipal managers and the citizens, aiming for a quick resolution of local problems.
The governor defended this position when speaking at the meeting of the hearing and social concert council, held in the premises of Rangel Municipality Administration, which served to review the activities carried out in the first quarter of this year, among other things.
He stressed that between the administrator and the citizen there should not be barriers or bureaucracy in exposing and resolving local problems.
“The citizen needs to feel cherished by those that rule and there has to be an interaction between the two parties in searching for solutions to social difficulties” he explained.
The governor regretted the state of the streets in Rangel Municipality, adding that in many cases with small actions like fixing potholes, cleaning, painting and pruning of trees, the aspect of the district can be different.
