Afgoye — As many regions in south-central Somalia received seasonal rains, farmers in south of the country began planting their farms.
About three years the country has endured severe droughts that hampered all the activities of local farmers as yearly and seasonal crop extensively declined.
Some of the farmers told Shabelle that rains, which started in southern Somalia, fit for planting and farming.
Somalis mainly consume the country’s crops such as maize, wheat, beans, sorghum and so on.
