BuaNews (Tshwane) 13 May 2011 Pretoria — The Department of Home Affairs is pulling out all the stops to ensure that those who need Identity Documents (IDs) to cast their vote on 18 May have every opportunity to obtain them. Addressing a media briefing on Friday, the department's Director-General Mkuseli Apleni said on the day of the municipal elections all Home Affairs offices will open at 7am and close at 7pm. Apart from the normal services it offers, the offices will also issue temporary identity certificates to those who do not have permanent IDs

Richard Kingson will have to look elsewhere

Ghana first choice goalie Richard Kingson’s Blackpool were unable to beat the drop on the final day of the English Premiership as they suffered a disappointing 4-2 defeat at the Old Trafford.

The 32-year-old,who is rumoured to be on his way out of the Bloomfield Road, sat on the bench for Ian Holloway’s men who will now return to the Npower Championship next season.

Kingson emerged the keeper with most appearances for the Tangerines with 20 appearances when first choice goalie Matthew Gilks went out with a long term injury.

He has been linked with a move back to the Turkish top flight with Besiktas.
