Baidoa — After severe droughts that left tens of people and countless domestic animals dead, rainfalls on Friday started in the region of Bay in southern Somalia.
Local residents said that the rains made lagoons in the streets of the region as buses and trucks have tough time in shuttling through the waters.
Witnesses said that the vulnerable houses made of old clothes and sheets have been torn down by the rainfalls.
They added that the needy and displaced people are facing difficulty time as their shelters harmed by the rains.
