Huambo — The governor of the central Huambo province, Fernando Faustino Muteka, invited on Sunday the business people to invest in the region, in order to explore the beautiful landscape, historic and cultural heritage of this locality.

The official said so to Angop during the inauguration ceremony of the tourism website which is aimed at encouraging the entrepreneurs to seek for a sustainable tourism development in the region, and thus meet the economic and social needs of the population.

On her turn, the local director of trade, hotels and tourism department, Delina Samesse, said that the website was inaugurated in a time that the government is committed to re-structuring of the country, thus, opting for a model of sustainable social and economic development.

The ceremony, led by the governor of Huambo province, Fernando Faustino Muteka, was also aimed at presenting the government portal, which will soon be available for the public in the website www.huambogov.com.

This initiative is aimed at modernizing the public administration.
