‘It’s definitely not going to be the last’ – Nemanja Vidic warns rivals to expect Manchester United to keep on winning

Nemanja Vidic dedicated the club’s 19^thPremier League title to the Manchester United fans and warned their rivals “it’s not going to be the last one” after their 4-2 win over Blackpool at Old Trafford.

The defender enjoyed an outstanding season at the heart of the Man United defence and couldn’t hide his delight at Old Trafford as the Red Devils were presented with the Premier League trophy.

“It’s a great feeling,” Vidic told Sky Sports.

“The 19th in Man United’s history, I hope it’s definitely not going to be the last one but it means a lot to the fans to the players, but we’re definitely enjoying this moment and tomorrow we will think about Barcelona.”

Vidic also insisted that he was well aware of how special this title triumph was to the club and was confident the club could add more to their already impressive collection.

“Too be honest, when you play for Man United, you know where you are and what this club is about,” he added.

“I was not there when Man United were chasing Liverpool I came a bit later but still, I know what it means to this club and like I said, it’s not going to be the last one, I hope we win many more.”

Manchester United secured the Premier League title before today’s game with Blackpool and Vidic admitted the team enjoyed playing without pressure.

“To be honest, we had already won it one week ago and obviously we maybe lost a bit momentum but we will still enjoy it as we know how hard it is to win the Premier League,” he added.

“We know there are so many good teams and definitely because people talk all year about the Man United team, we are not good enough but we proved we are good generation, won the one trophy and we will challenge for the other one.”
