The 30-man Super Eagles squad for next month’s friendly against Argentina will not be made public till next week.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) plans to make public the squad list next week Thursday at a press conference in Abuja that would also have Argentina officials in attendance.

“Nigeria will release the list of the players for the match on Thursday,” a top official simply disclosed.

Nigeria’s squad for the June 1 high-profile friendly against the South Americans will also be the one for the all-important 2012 Nations Cup qualifier in Ethiopia on June 5.

It was also gathered that Turkey-based striker Emmanuel Emenike will be included in the squad even though he is nursing a rib injury.

Heartland defender Chibuzor Okonkwo has also been picked despite suffering an ankle injury, which ruled him out of the semi-final and final of the recently ended sub-regional WAFU Nations Cup in Abeokuta.

Coach Siasia will equally stick to top stars like goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, Taye Taiwo, Obinna Nsofor, Joseph Yobo and Ikechukwu Uche.

The coach also hints that “a couple of players from the league” are on the squad.
