Luanda — Both Angolan and Mozambican general Attorneys, respectively, João Maria de Sousa and Augusto Raul Paulino, Thursday, in Luanda, said they are interested in reinforcing cooperation, in order to combat international organized crime.
Both officials paid this information together, while leaving the audience provided by the Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, to the Mozambican magistrate.
On the occasion, the Angolan magistrate stressed the necessity to establish partnership with other nations, because organized crime has been built from outside the country.
“We need to cooperate with other countries for a tight and efficient combat, toward uncovering everybody involved in it, avoiding to resolving only a part of the problem maintaining other doing the same actions somewhere”, said the source.
The Mozambican official said that both Portuguese-speaking nations must be organized to face this type of crime, since there is no border for this kind of crime.
Augusto Paulino stressed that “if countries organize themselves it will be possible to avoid it”, adding that this is a world problem.
The agreement cooperation to be signed Friday, in Luanda, between Angola and Mozambique Attorney General offices will focus on training and sharing of information.
