For some time now we have been seeing celebrities wear sunglasses often and don’t know if they wear it for fun, to hide, or that they have a kind of eye problem which makes them wear it.

Manchester United chief executive David Gill has revealed that he is expecting a ‘busy summer’ of transfer activity at the club now that they have secured a record breaking 19th league crown.

With Edwin van der Sar retiring after the Champions League final and Gary Neville already having hung up his boots earlier this season, Gill has revealed that the club have been busy searching for replacements throughout the season.

“We’ve been working very hard over the course of the last 12 months to understand which positions we need to fill and identifying the players we want and trying to work on it,” he told MUTV.

“Gary Neville has retired already and Edwin van der Sar is retiring. We’ve been doing a lot of work on a replacement for Edwin to determine who we want to replace him. I think we’re well on the way with that. There are other areas as well as with Paul Scholes still to decide what he wants to do.”

Gill also praised Sir Alex Ferguson’s record in the transfer market, highlighting his ability to re-build the side with continued success.

He added: “I think it’ll be slightly busier than normal but that’s good. What Alex has done so successfully over the last 25 years is to reinvent the team slowly by bringing in new players and integrating them with established stars. That’s what we’ll continue to do.

“We get a buzz from bringing in new players and we’re looking forward to a busy summer with relish.”
