Liverpool target Ashley Young to decide Aston Villa future at end of the season

Ashley Young says he wants to concentrate on his football before speaking to the Aston Villa management about his future at the end of the season.

Young has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, with some reports claiming a deal has already been agreed.

However, Young says that he just wants to focus on Villa’s final game at home to Liverpool before thinking and talking about his summer plans.

“I have always said at the end of the season I will speak to the manager and the chairman,” Young told Sky Sports News.

“I will give 100 per cent on the pitch and when it comes to the end of the season I will sit down and take it from there.

“There is a lot of speculation around in the football world and that is how it has been for the last few weeks. I have just got to concentrate on Aston Villa and keep doing well for the club.”

Young, who joined Villa from Watford for an initial £8 million in 2007, has scored 30 league goals for the club.
