Luanda — Real Madrid’s emissary, Cristoffer Laurens Komen, is since Monday evening in Luanda for discussions of the detail of the planned coming to Angola of the Spanish football team for a match with the local national team on May 25, Africa Day.
Speaking to Angop Cristoffer Laurens Komen said during his 24-hour visit, he will evaluate all possibilities for the friendly match to take place, adding that “the moment we decide all conditions are in place we will announce”.
While in Luanda, Cristoffer Laurens Komen will visit Luanda’s “11 de Novembro” football stadium, the perspective stadium for the friendly match between Angola’s national team and Real Madrid.
The Real Madrid official will also chose the hotel where the team will put up during their stay in the Angolan capital.
The match is part of the preparation of Angola’s national team for the game against Kenya on June 6, for the qualifiers for the Orange African Cup of Nations in 2012 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
This will be the 25th time Real Madrid will be playing in Africa.
