The times at URA today can’t have been better. The tax collectors are set to win the league tomorrow if they beat Victors. The match comes in the aftermath of URA’s advancement to the Bell Uganda Cup final at the weekend where they knocked out Victors in Jinja.
Alex Isabirye’s side is clearly riding on a wave of belief and will take some beating to be stopped. “With the motivation from the leadership, as players we developed a winning ethos,” said defender Sam Mubiru.
At the start of the season, URA lured the likes of Steven Bengo, Oscar Agaba, Moses Feni, Wagaluka, Sula Bagala, Robert Ssentongo, Simone Masaba and goalkeeper Allan Owiny at a reportedly combined Shs46m. Their value to the season has been beyond doubt.
