Nairobi — Some of Somali elders and shrewd people on Monday condemn the detention of Barre Adam Shire, Somali lawmaker, by the Ethiopian military in Dolow town.
The elders said they don’t the reason behind his arrest, adding that they are expressing a deep concern about his health conditions.
Yusuf Mohamed Wa’eys, an elder, said in an interview with Shabelle Media Network that the Ethiopian are needed to released the parliamentarian unconditional.
On May 2, Ethiopian forces captured the lawmaker while he was in Dolow Somalia for untold reasons.
