West Ham have sacked Avram Grant after the cub suffered relegation from the Premier League.
The Hammers were demoted to the Championship following a 3-2 defeat to Wigan at the DW Stadium, in a game which Grant’s side were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The Israeli took charge at Upton Park last June on a four-year deal following the departure of Gianfranco Zola but
“The club can confirm that Avram Grant is no longer the manager of West Ham United,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“First-team coach Kevin Keen will take charge of the team for the final home match of the season against Sunderland on Sunday 22 May.”
